Just out of curiosity, any of you guys considering getting on the wait list for some more season tickets in the future?
I was on the wait list last year and it allowed me to go to a bunch of games I otherwise would not have had access to. Now that my group has season tickets, I'm toying with the idea of getting back on the list for the access to get some other single seats to supplement my season tickets on an as needed basis. Worth the 100$/year, plus, when the kids are older maybe my number will get called and I can get more season tickets for the family (win-win).

We have joked how we should have bought 8 seats instead of 4 back on June 4,2011 but never considered going on the waiting list. Most of our group is happy with the number of games we have and there is some last minute cancellations that allow some additional games. Personally I wish I could buy 3 or 4 additional games per year. Last year I bought a pair through the Jets ticket draw, a pair off kijiji and skills comp tix from someone off kijiji as well. That was good enough for me.

Yeah, since you guys have 4 seats, it's less of an issue. We only have two tickets and I figure, if we get on the wait list now, with a high number, it may be 10 years before our number gets called. By then, we'll have a bigger family, maybe more income and hopefully, less debt. At that point we can decide to maybe get another pair of tickets. I got on the wait list again. LOL! Call me a sucker but you never know what the future holds. I may have made a great 100$ investment.

Who knows. We are all assuming that the franchise will eventually win and demand will grow. I wish I had pulled the trigger on another 4 seats when I had the chance.

Just checked the website and the waiting list is no longer available. So the team effortlessly added 2,500 new names to the waiting list. No marketing or discounts. Must be nice to know that your hometown fans will throw $250,000 in your bank account for the privilege to wait 10 years to get single seats somewhere in the arena. Well played, TNSE. Well played.

^^^ But there ARE benefits to being on the waiting list - most notably the "pre-sale" on tickets released to the public! If we had not been able to get season tickets, the wait list would definitely be the next best thing - not close to the season tickets, but still a great help in getting tickets. It's what I would do.

Wow...all 2500 spots taken that quickly...I was really wondering if they would go as fast as last year...I guess the novelty, the desire for tickets hasn't waned yet.
